Believing is Work

Note: 9-11

On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the religious extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Often referred to as 9/11, the attacks resulted in extensive death and destruction, triggering major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism ... Over 3,000 people were killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters. (Source: http://www.history.com/topics/9-11-attacks)

Today marks the 15th anniversary of nine-eleven. We mourn with those who lost friends and loved ones that day and for all those who have given their all in the War on Terrorism since. May God bless these families and each precious memory and may God bless America. Let’s Pray …

Believing is Work

John 6  NKJV
28  Then they said to Him, "What shall we do, that we may work the works of God?"
29  Jesus answered and said to them, "This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent."

Believing is work – it is the work of God. Perhaps the greatest work we must do … it is at least our first work. Believing is work so we need to work on believing …

There is a seed in every Word of God designed and empowered by God to create faith. Romans 10:10 tells us that faith comes by hearing the Word of God. Therefore the more we hear the Word of God the more potential we have to believe!
