The Partnership - The Purpose - The Process

The miraculous is a Partnership with a Process connected to a Purpose.

The Process

Key Scripture For Process: Matthew 7

7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

I. Every Answer To Prayer Is A Miracle

We asked for Greg Chipman

We asked for April’s ovarian cist

We asked for Brenda’s pre-cancerous cells

We asked for Travis Braugh’s life

We asked for $452,000 loan to pay off bonds

We asked for victory concerning building on our land

We asked for favor to get the North Church building

I asked God for Brenda for my wife

I asked God for a piece of land in my hometown

II. The Process of A Miracle (3 Key Steps)

1. Trust in the Partnership

Read God’s Word

Renew Your Mind

Do not be deceived

2. Establish The Purpose

Last Lesson: 3 Primary Purposes + 1 Peripheral Purpose

* For God’s Glory

* For Man’s Provision

* For Kingdom Advancement & Enhancement

* No Promise Goes Unfulfilled

Do not ask amiss for your own selfish lust (James 4:3)

God only obligates to His will

1 John 5:14 “anything according to His will”

3. Begin The Process

* Ask In Faith (James 1:6)

Nothing wavering

There is a partnership

There is a purpose

There is nothing to doubt

4 Ways We Get Faith

Rom 12:3 Everyone is given a measure

Gal 5:22 Faith is grown as a spiritual fruit

Rom 10:17 Faith increases by the Word intake

1Cor 12:9 Faith is a manifestation of the Spirit

God’s word is God’s will

You have not because you ask not (James 4:2)

* Keep Asking

Luke 11:8 “importunity” (bread for the neighbor)

Luke 18 The widow’s continual cry

1 ¶ And he spake a parable unto them to this end, that men ought always to pray, and not to faint;

2 Saying, There was in a city a judge, which feared not God, neither regarded man:

3 And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary.

4 And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man;

5 Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me.

6 And the Lord said, Hear what the unjust judge saith.

7 And shall not God avenge his own elect, which cry day and night unto him, though he bear long with them?

8 I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

Mark 8:25 Jesus prayed twice for a blind man

* Possess Your Request By Faith

Now faith is the substance and evidence (Hebrews 11:1)

Hebrews 11:13 The Patriarchs and Matriarchs of Faith

Saw the promises of God by faith

They were persuaded of the promises by faith

They embraced the promises of God by faith

They confessed the promises of God by faith

Abram changed to Abraham before Isaac was born

* Hold Fast Your Profession Of Faith (Hebrews 10:23)

Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Pro 18:20-21)

You shall have whatsoever you say (Mark 11:23)

* Have Patience

You have need of patience (Hebrews 10:36)

Through faith and patience you inherit (Hebrews 6:12)

In your patience possess ye your souls (Luke 21:19)

III. The Key To The Process Is Asking

1. In The Right Way (In Faith)

2. For The Right Reasons (God’s Kingdom & Will)

Ask of Me and I will give the nations (Psalms 2:8)

Ask for the rain in its season (Zech 10:1)

Lord knows your need before you ask (Mat 6:8)

Ask and you shall receive, seek and knock (Mat 7:7)

The Father will give good things to them that ask Him (Mat 7:11)

Agree and ask (Mat 18:19)

Ask in prayer believing you shall receive (Mat 21:22)

Ask in My Name, I will do it (John 14:13)

Ask anything in My name, I will do it. (John 14:14)

If you abide in Me and My words abide in you, ask …(Jn 15:7)

Ask the Father in My Name (Jn 15:16)

Up to now you have asked nothing (John 16:24)

Ask and receive that your joy might be full (Jn 16:24)

Exceeding abundantly above … ask .. (Eph 3:20)

Ask of God (Jam 1:5)

Ask in faith, nothing wavering (Jam 1:6)

You have not because you ask not (Jam 4:2)

Whatever we ask we receive of Him (1Jn 3:22)

If we ask according to His will, He hears (1Jn 5:14)

If He hears what we ask, He grants (1Jn 5:15)

If you ask for forgiveness for others, they receive (1Jn 5:16)

Jn 11:22 I know, Jesus, if You ask, God will do it

Jn 16:23-27 In that day, you will ask God & He will do it

IV. Keep a Journal (Psalms 136)

Record God’s Goodness

Remember God’s Goodness

Rehearse God’s Goodness
